This modern country house sits gently in the hills of Northumberland County, defined by its broad, curved gable roof and a quiet integration with the land. Two volumes, one private, one social, are joined by a green roofed entry that tucks into the slope.

Warm Modern Interiors & Custom Millwork

Interiors feature Douglas fir ceilings, oak millwork, limestone and marble finishes, creating a warm, atmospheric retreat.

Integration with Landscape design

Thoughtful transitions between indoors and out include a breezeway, outdoor shower, and sun deck. Further down the hill, a swim pond and wildflower meadow extend the home’s connection to place, celebrating simplicity, rhythm, and a deep relationship with the surrounding landscape.
